About Us
History
Pacific Farm Company was established in 1946 by Ralph Coelho and his wife Aileen. Ralph built a strong farming organization on 7,000 acres of San Joaquin Valley in Central California. Ralph's grandson, Jim Abbate, handled sales for Pacific Farm Co. as well as the other quality growers and started Pacific Sales Co in 1986.
What We're Doing Now
Today, Pacific Sales is still being operated by the same family, continuing to provide high-quality melons and exceptional service. In 2011 we started importing melons from Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Honduras. We work closely with seed breeders to improve our quality along with exploring new varieties. We service retail, food service, and processors.
The Team
With sales offices based in Fresno, CA and Salinas, CA, our sales team is larger than its ever been, allowing us to create and maintain strong relationships with clients.
